Search Engine
A tool allowing users to search for information on the Internet using key words and phrases. Search engines explore the Internet and return a list of Web pages that are related to the key words or phrases entered. Popular search engines include Google, Alta Vista, Ask Jeeves, Excite, Hotbot, Lycos and Yahoo!.
